PLANT CONTROLLER
Plant Controller needed for a manufacturing company located near Kingsport, TN. Starting salary around $95,000 (depending on experience, education and training). This is a Direct Hire position.
Job Description: Managing the Accounting Department with 2 direct reports. Must have expert level Microsoft Excel and Power BI experience. Managing plant general accounting, accounts payables, billing, cost accounting, business analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting. Managing monthly financial statements and annual audits as well and annual budgets. Oversee Payable/Disbursement Department and the Accounts Receivables department. Prepare monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, and strategic planning. Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels with appropriate departments.
Skills and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proficient in PC spreadsheets and ERP/MRP systems.
- Expert level in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivables experience.
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
