What Career Matches Your Personality?
Personality and the job to go along with it
“What do you want to do with your life?”
It’s the age-old question we’ve been asked since we’ve been able to speak. It’s the same question every five-year-old is excited to answer but most twenty-year-olds dread to answer.
I’ve taken every career quiz from short to elaborate. One test I’m supposed to be a pilot and the next I’m a politician. I’m more confused after taking the test than I was before I started.
If you’re anything like me, then I have good news for you. There are ways to sift through those career quizzes and find something meaningful for you. Although it’s not perfect, it might help guide you to your next career choice.
There are a few ways that people split up understanding personalities. The Myers-Briggs is an elaborate personality test. You can fall into 16 different personality combinations. Understanding your personality and the career types that go along with it can be beneficial in matching yourself with a career that not only you thrive at but are happy with.
You can take the 10 to 15-minute quiz for yourself at the official website for a fee. However, there are a few websites that offer a free unofficial variation of MBIT- (HumanMetrics,16Personalities, and Truity.)
I took the test on all three sites and got the same result from each. Furthermore, I learned more about myself than I expected. Take the quiz and see where you match up. Next, check back tomorrow to see what career path fits your personality.
